If I were homeless I hope I could have it this good. Not that I’m saying he’s lucky or anything, but at least he has something to stimulate his mind:
A dog and a laptop and you can forget your plight for a little while. I suppose there are places where he can recharge his battery and I’ll bet he can find wireless access all over the place.
I’m not sure why, but when I Stumbled onto this picture, it moved me. The picture is a link to the original as I found it on the web - no credits, no clue as to who, what, where, or when.
If you really want to make a lot more money as a freelancer, you don
’t have to drive yourself crazy working an enormous number of extra hours.

I switched to 1and1.com for web hosting a few years ago and have been nothing but happy with the service. My old hosting company kept ending up on blacklists and had a lot of down time. 1and1 has been very good to me - never a bounced email because my IP address is on a blacklist and I’m only aware of 1 outage ever since I started with them and that only lasted a few minutes.

I’m old enough to join AARP. How sad. How amazing! A half century old. Holy Crap!
I stumbled upon this blog entry about a poor fellow whose domain name was stolen by someone breaking into his gmail account and requesting a domain transfer. The thief wants to be paid to return the domain to the rightful owner. Very well written with lots of details about the theft. This is happening right now - Christmas Eve 2007.
‘Twas the day before Christmas…. and I’m finally taking some time off. Things have been crazy lately. I worked Friday night, 7 hours on Saturday and 10 on Sunday. Now it’s Monday, Christmas Eve 2007. Enough is enough. It’s time to stop and smell the Christmas trees.
Merry Christmas!

I’ve become a huge fan of Bloglines. I find that there are many blogs that I’m interested in, but don’t want to have to go check them out via bookmarks or some other silly stuff. I tried the RSS reader in Outlook, but wasn’t too happy with it. Bloglines makes it simple.
If I stumble upon (another “tool” that I love) a blog that catches my eye, all I have to do is click on the RSS icon in the address bar and it adds it to my feeds on bloglines. Check it out - even my site will let you subscribe.

When I click on the icon it takes me to the bloglines page to add feeds. I can put it at the top level or organize my feeds into folders. Super Easy! I can tell at a glance how many new posts are available for each category and each blog.

That’s right! I’m creating this blog entry in Microsoft Word 2007. Did you know it could do that? I didn’t until just a few minutes ago.
Just select File | New and choose Blog Post:

Cool, huh?
After 4 failed attempts, I finally got Wordpress installed on my domain. My new blog is now live!
Hello, World!
